Ashill School Parent Teachers Friends Association
The PTFA is a parent led organisation supporting the school in projects and fund raising to provide facilities, items and transport which enhance our children's education.
We hold regular fund raising events. Annualy the main fundraisers are the Christmas Fayre and Summer Fete in addition to these there may be varying social events including a Halloween party, quiz, bingo, fun run or cream tea. New ideas are always welcome and we're always looking for volunteers willing to head up, take part, donate items or bake cakes.
As a team we might also get involved with painting a classroom or a garden tidy to help keep our childrens learning environment at it's best.
Recently we have purchased new furniture for our library, playground benches and books. We also usually fund the buses to outings and swimming lessons. We're guided by the school staff on how we spend our funds to give the children the best icing on their cake of education!
Having a child at Ashill school automatically means that you become a member of the PTFA so come along and get invloved, we look forward to meeting you.
